Shell Lubricants

We became a Shell Lubricants distributor in 1961 and are now the largest in the Northwest. In 1996, we added the Calflo heat transfer product line from Petro-Canada Lubricants to our offerings. Both suppliers are renowned for premium quality products worldwide and we experience excellent technical support from both companies. Any solutions we can’t provide from these outstanding suppliers, we fill from wide variety of other top-tier manufacturers.

Distributor Product Quality Assurance

To assure its customers receive the quality products they expect, Shell has developed a Distributor Product Quality Assurance (DPQA) certification program. This rigorous examination looks at over 120 specific aspects of a distributor's operation from office procedures to safety standards, product handling specifications and record keeping. Each item is scored against pre-determined criteria established as best practices in that particular area. Distributors must score at least 85 percent to achieve certification.

Overlake Oil is very proud to be one of only three distributors in western Washington to achieve certification under this program. This assures you receive the correct product, properly packaged and labeled, clean, fresh and appropriate to your application, with the supporting documentation to address any issues that may arise.

Innovative Handling Solutions

To further add to our value proposition, we offer unique and progressive solutions for handling your lubricants, including the Oil Bank® and Oil Safe® product lines. These can minimize waste due to contamination, ease dispensing, ensure correct product usage through color coding and improve operating efficiencies.
